We are proud to offer Stereotactic Breast Biopsy and all the latest advances in Breast Care. Many procedures may be performed within our on-site Breast Center. GSA also offers a Vascular Laboratory that is Accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL). Gastonia Surgical Vascular Laboratory was among the first 975 vascular laboratories in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico to be granted accreditation by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Vascular Laboratories (ICAVL). The major benefit is the early detection of vascular diseases that effect the blood vessels of the heart and brain, and deep venous clotting that lead to a condition known as DVT "Deep Venous Thrombosis" which can become fatal. Although life threatening if undetected, early detection of these vascular diseases is possible through the use of the noninvasive vascular testing techniques performed in vascular laboratories such as ours. Our Comprehensive Vein Center offers complete on-site diagnosis and treatment for the full spectrum of cosmetic and symptomatic venous disorders. Ask us about the Closure Procedure performed on-site.
