An automated teller machine (ATM) or cash machine/minibank/bankomat is an automated machine which allows various transactions to be carried out at times when the bank is closed, by inserting an ATM card or bank card which has a magnetic stripe or a chip which contains information for identification. This can include cash withdrawal, sometimes with an ATM fee, balance enquiries, PIN (personal identification number) number changes and more.
