Stra-Val is a manufacturer of low and high-pressure valves, relief valves, back pressure valves, overpressure valves, bypass valves, and strainers. Materials stainless steel, type 316, 304, 303, titanium, Hastelloy C276, C22, Monel, nickel alloys, brass, Teflon, PVC, Kynar, PVDF and plastics. High pressure strainers and high pressure filters are manufactured with both perforated metal and wire mesh baskets and screens. Connections available: NPT threaded, ANSI flanges, Tri-clover, Tri-Clamp sanitary flanges. Applications: water, steam, chemicals, oil, grease, silicone, nitrogen, hydrogen, ethylene glycol, petrochemical, food processing. Pressures are from vacuum, 1/2 PSI (0.03 Bar) to 5000 PSI (340 Bar). We manufacture a variety of high-quality strainers and valves at our facility in Garfield, NJ using the latest CAD/CAM design, machinery, and manufacturing methods. Each valve is individually tested before packaging and shipment to assure trouble-free performance. Please consult factory whenever possible for proper application so that the proper and most economical product is applied for the service intended. We manufacture a broad line of valves and are constantly expanding our product base with new product additions and variations. Also we have not listed all of the valve types in our design library and therefore show only the most popular models. While we design and manufacture our own valves and strainer products, we also manufacture a line of sanitary valves with triclover fittings exclusively for Spirax Sarco, a well-known company worldwide. Our philosophy is to manufacture a highly reliable product with quick delivery in mind. Many shipments are made within 1 to 2 weeks. All of our products are manufactured from bar stock, forgings, and formed products, which permit us to offer products at a reasonable price and with fast deliveries. We do not use castings and therefore do not offer valves or strainers in cast iron. Our strength and specialty is in manufacturing our products in materials such as stainless steel, steel, brass, Monel, Hastelloy, titanium, Alloy 20, PVC, and Teflon. We are able to repair and service all of our valves at our own facility. For some smaller, low-cost valves, repair may not be feasible, as it may be less expensive to replace the valves entirely. However, for the larger and more costly models, it may be less costly to repair the valve at our facility than for the customer to purchase all the possible parts to make the repair themselves and often purchase unnecessary parts. Very often only the valve seat needs to be remachined and re-lapped and the seals need to be replaced. Contact us if you need repair instructions. Our general warranty does not cover misapplication of our product or product wear and tear, corrosion, and seal and seat wear or specific performance unless we do so in writing after careful review of the application.
