Chestnut Mountain Resort was built in 1959 as a small ski lodge with a handful of runs and no guest rooms. Lodging and dining facilities were added in the early 1960's and again in 1971. In the late 1980's, we embarked on a 15 year multi-million dollar expansion and renovation program that brings Chestnut to where it is today.
