The Johnston family has been providing safe, reliable propane services to families and businesses since 1936. We pride ourselves on our knowledgeable, personalized service that few other propane suppliers can match. Johnston's Propane evolved from Johnston's Hardware which was started in 1875. After World War I, Johnston's Hardware began selling propane appliances such as cook stoves, water heaters and heating stoves. They also sold the propane to fuel these appliances which was delivered in 100 lb cylinders to customer's home by pick-up truck.
