Eastside Christian Church is an independent, nondenominational community of believers - followers of Jesus Christ. We began in a warehouse in Fullerton in 1962 with 96 people who had a vision to share Christ's love and start a new church in East Fullerton. In 1964 we moved to our present campus in East Fullerton, and built our first worship center. In 1987, we connected our two buildings, adding more classrooms. We completed a major remodeling of our Main Worship Center in 2000. Besides our solid congregation here, Eastside has extended her vision of establishing new churches in our area. Since 1978, we've planted churches in Chino, Anaheim, Chino Hills, Corona/Norco, Murrieta, and Fullerton. We've also supported other church plants in Carson Valley and Reno & Sparks, Nevada. Our "open-handed" attitude with God's resources has blessed other communities significantly! We focus our ministry primarily on a 7-mile radius around the church campus, which includes the communities of Fullerton, Placentia, Anaheim, Yorba Linda, Buena Park, La Habra, La Mirada, and Orange. Easy access from the 57 freeway affords people to arrive quickly from even farther away. Because we sit adjacent to a major university-California State University, Fullerton-our ministry impacts a growing number of college students and young adults. World missions is also a big part of our spiritual "DNA." We support a variety of gifted missionaries and ministries in many countries. We have laid aside the differences of our backgrounds to unite through the love of and the lordship of Jesus Christ. We accept the Bible as the inspired word of God, and our only rule and authority. We strive to grow in our character to be more like Jesus as we serve God together.
