Surrounded by the picturesque landscape of Tejon Pass, Mountain Aire Veterinary Hospital has provided the Mountain Communities with quality pet care since July 1989. At MAVH, "second best" is not an option. Our mission is to offer the finest care possible while helping educate owners about the health of their companion and family member. The collective dedication of our staff to offer only the best secured MAVH as an accredited hospital member of the American Animal Hospital Association. Our facility voluntarily meets or exceeds an established, exacting and unique set of standards set forth by AAHA. Less than 13% of all veterinary hospitals in the United States meet these standards (% locally). We are confidently commmitted to maintaining these strict guidelines in order to ensure excellence in professional service and care for your valued pet. The staff at Mountain Aire encourages all pet lovers to continue their education. Our staff attends CE courses offered at UC Davis and other medical facilities, and the Western Veterinary Conference in Las Vegas. In turn, our knowledge is passed on to our clients and patients. Owners can learn pet specific emergency first aid through classes offered by the American Red Cross, shelters, and other organizations in your area.
