PayMaxx is a payroll industry innovator; the company was the first payroll provider in the country to introduce a Windows-based payroll product (PayLoad) in 1995 and was one of the first to launch its Internet-based payroll product (PowerPayroll) in January 1999. The company that is now PayMaxx was founded in 1979 by current president and chief executive officer, Farsheed Ferdowsi. At that time, and throughout the 1980's, the company specialized in business systems software development. The company began offering payroll processing as a stand-alone service in 1991 and PayMaxx, the payroll company, was incorporated in 1994.
