ROY International Inc. is an American small Corporation, working in the Russian and other CIS market since 1988. The main area of business is Corporate Computing and supplying of complex solutions on computer systems. The main object areas are Oil and Gas applications, Applied Geophysics, Earth Resources, Geo-Information Systems, Industry CAD systems, Education systems, Aviation, Finance etc. ROY International Inc. is an authorized partner of Sun Microsystems. It is the first and the most experienced distributor/partner of Sun in CIS. The first installation was accomplished after the COCOM restrictions loosened in 1991. The total number of installed workstations and servers significantly exceeds 2000 units. ROY has installed platforms in various parts with Oil Production, Reservoir, Refinery Well Logging, Processing, Interpretation and Depth migration projects with the Software of Schlumberger, Paradigm Geophysical, Landmark, CGG, and Russian Software. ROY has qualified technical staff to support and give consultations to these projects. ROY has a long term contacts with a lot of leading organizations and enterprises in Russia, and other parts of CIS, which are in fact a sort of stable "customer club". These enterprises are Ministry of Fuel and Energy, Telecommunication Industry, Central Geophysical Expedition, Ministry of Ecology, Academy of Sciences of Russian Federation, Ministry of Education, all the main Automobile plants, a number of Oil and Gas companies etc. ROY has experience in developing and accomplishing International investment projects, among them are a project of military conversion of Belorussian plant Minsk computers, supported by Defense Nuclear Agency, USA, USAID and EXIM Bank etc. Besides the technical staff at all installation sites, who are trained by ROY, there are 30 persons in Moscow office and in Technical Service Center office. Most of them are Ph. D's and M. Tech's in computer sciences. The Moscow office of the company is situated at the central part of the city, with facilities for demonstration and presentation and Software development and is large enough to accommodate further development. The Service Center is working 24 hours with Certified Engineers and with a large inventory of Computer equipment, permanently attending to all service calls, giving consultations and giving solutions and also personally reaching to all sites which requires personnel attention, within two hours in the Moscow city and within two days to any part of CIS, including the Far East, like to the installations at Sakhalinsk.
