Info
About 100 TCL alumni are currently developing in the minor leagues, with over 70 on their way after this year's draft. German Duran, Josh Geer, Clay Buchholz and Sean Danielson, to name a few, are really performing well for their respective farm teams. That being said, the reputation of TCL is continually growing throughout the nation, and we owe most of our success to our players. Because of this popularity, I have been approached by three summer collegiate leagues about conducting a "Summer Collegiate World Series" event between the top leagues in the country. We have discussed this opportunity at the league office, but we want to get an opinion from our most valued partner , our players. This series would be broadcast on either FSN or ESPNU. Would our players be excited about participating in a "Summer Collegiate World Series" after a grueling spring and summer baseball season? We want to make sure that the timing is appropriate and that our players would be committed. Here are the options that have been presented to us: 1) Select a team of TCL all-stars to face the all-stars of the other collegiate leagues after the conclusion of our championship series. 2) Send the winner of the TCL championship to the Summer Collegiate World Series to represent TCL and battle the other league champions, with each team adding an additional 5 players from throughout its league to its roster. We would appreciate it if TCL's players would please take the time to vote on this topic. Below are the questions, but click here to vote on the message board. Which of the following scenarios would our players prefer for a Summer Collegiate World Series?
