Pier 1 Kids is an established home retailer specializing in value-oriented, fashionable children's furniture and accessories. Founded in 1981, Pier 1 Kids became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pier 1 Imports® (NYSE: PIR) in 2001. By the end of the fiscal year, Pier 1 Kids will have over 60 stores located in six states in the Southeast; the Pier 1 Kids brand plans to expand to 300 stores by the end of this decade.
