Tarrant Appraisal District (TAD) is a political subdivision of the State of Texas. TAD is responsible for local property tax appraisal and exemption administration, to determine fair market values on real estate, business personal property (BPP), and mineral property, for the jurisdictions in the Tarrant County including the County, the local cities, the school disctricts (ISDs), and the special districts.
