Its HGA Operating Unit primarily handles standard commercial insurance. Its TGA Operating Unit concentrates on excess and surplus lines commercial insurance. The Aerospace Operating Unit specializes in general aviation insurance and its Phoenix Operating Unit focuses on non-standard personal automobile insurance. In September 2008, Hallmark announced that it has acquired 80% of the outstanding membership interests in Heath XS, LLC and Hardscrabble Data Solutions, LLC.
