Andover Communications is a full service public relations/marketing firm specializing in publicity, special events, marketing and editorial services. Founded in 1989, Andover Communications has represented multinational companies and organizations like IBM Consulting Group, Anheuser Busch, MasterCard, Kal Kan, Citibank and the National Council of Jewish Women, as well as many small and entrepreneurial clients in such industries as medical/health, packaged and durable goods, food & beverage, publishing, education, computers, retail and professional services. Prior to starting the company, Steven Clark was a Vice President at The Rowland Group, where he was responsible for such clients as Ragu, Proctor & Gamble, Scotch Whisky Association, McDonald's Owner/Operators and Guinness Beer, and at NW Ayer, where he supervised such accounts as Seven-Up, Rawlings Sporting Goods and Edison Electric Institute. Before entering public relations, Clark was a prize-winning newspaper reporter and magazine editor. He has also had four non-fiction books on health & fitness and sports published, written for The New York Daily News, New York Post, Ladies Home Journal, Self, Family Circle and many other publications, and taught college journalism. He is a graduate of the Syracuse University Newhouse School of Public Communications. Staff members have a diverse background. They include journalism, television programming, entertainment, retail, publishing, technology and other areas.
