Accomet Corporation was founded in 1990 and is now one of the largest and fastest growing worldwide suppliers of secondary aluminum alloys to the global aluminum die-casting industry. Accomet's infrastructure includes interests in several secondary aluminum producers and representative offices worldwide. Accomet investments, aggressive marketing policy, and consolidated business infrastructure allow for control of over 120,000 metric tons per year of aluminum alloys and alloy related products through it's consortium of secondary smelters. Accomet's sale volume of specification aluminum alloys and remelted aluminum ingots/sows from CIS countries exceeded 90 thousand metric ton in 2004. In addition to the main activities of our company in the secondary aluminum industry, we are involved in the production and sales of remelted copper and brass ingots/sows, as well as the export of all grades of non-ferrous scrap from CIS and Western Europe. Accomet actively trades metallurgical grades of silicon metal, fluxes for smelting processes, and residues. The head office and the main trading desk is located in Fort Lee, New Jersey.
