Latin America Search Associates (LASA) is a "boutique" search firm specializing in the recruitment of bilingual executives with international experience for transnational companies. Since 1983, when the search practice was started in Fort Lauderdale, we have successfully completed over 600 assignments. LASA offers the following advantages to client companies that want to fill positions in their Latin American headquarters or subsidiaries within Latin America. Over the years we have built up an extensive inventory/network of bilingual/trilingual executives with considerable Latin American experience. We have excellent research capabilities in every country in Latin America, and can also handle multi-country searches. We do not have a long list of "off limit" companies anywhere in Latin America. We do a full search for every assignment and do not rely only on inventories of previously interviewed executives. LASA was founded by Victor P. Viglino, who has been an Executive Search Consultant for over 22 years in Mexico City, New York, and Fort Lauderdale. Born in Italy, Mr. Viglino came to the United States when he was 15 years old. He is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, and in addition to English, he is fluent in Italian, Spanish, French, and German.
