Tech Info Systems is an independent software vendor (ISV) founded in 1999 by me - Roger Martin - and I continue to serve as the lead consultant and primary developer. I grew up in Fort Atkinson, WI and earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Platteville. After college I moved to Colorado and worked for five years as a Manufacturing Engineer in a mid-sized manufacturing company. My passion for computers motivated me to study programming, and soon I transferred to the company's IT department, where I spent three years writing custom software to improve internal business processes. In 2004 I returned to Fort Atkinson to be near my family and to enjoy the benefits of living in a small, friendly community. My amazing wife Margaret has adjusted well considering the culture shock of leaving her native northern California. Now I am happy to serve local businesses in the southern Wisconsin / northern Illinois area. I earned a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer certificate in 2001, and am an expert with using Microsoft technologies to enhance your business. I aggressively stay up-to-date on the latest changes in the industry, and am actively involved in local developer groups. My #1 goal is to provide you - the customer - with programs and services that fulfill your needs and come in within budget and on time. I am very proud of my work and I know you will be, too.
