The Mississippi Real Estate Commission was established on May 6, 1954 with the specific mission to protect the public through the licensing, regulation and supervision of resident and non-resident real estate brokers and real estate salespersons and their businesses. This encompasses the ability to protect and promote the public interest while embracing the interests of regulated licensees and entities and the interest of consumers by the fair and impartial development and administration of the licensing laws and the rules and regulations of the Real Estate Commission.
