Hollis Transport Agency , Inc was founded by Ron Sr and Jamie Hollis in 1979. Ron Hollis Sr started with one straight truck delivering newspapers and theatre supplies in Northeast Georgia. Soon word began to spread in Northeast Georgia that if you wanted freight delivered " On Time Every Time" call Ron Sr @ Hollis Transport! Ron Sr hired his first employee Mark Adams and he is still with the company today. Ron Sr's two sons Ron Jr and Brian were also brought into the company. Hollis Transport started hauling computer forms , soft drinks , tires , auto parts , feed ingredient and really just about anything you can think of. The business took off and soon a new state of the art freight terminal was built in 1988. As more and more customers inquired about leasing warehouse space , Ron Hollis Sr started buying warehouses. The warehouse / logistics business was a perfect fit for the trucking operation. The rest is history! Hollis Transport has purchased a new facility in Flowery Branch , Ga in 2005. An addittional 25 acres of land was also purchased for future expansion. Hollis Transport will use the new facility for it's central dispatch , logistics/ warehouse division and company headquarters. Combined warehouse sq feet now is over 200,000 sq feet. Hollis Transport has seen a tremendous growth over the past 27 years due to it's commitment from it's employees and customers. Our employees have always had the same vision that we have " Do it right the first time and do it on time every time!"
