At that time, Ferndale Laboratories, Inc. embarked on a mission to grow from a local pharmaceutical manufacturer to a company with national recognition. By creating an inside sales force in 1975, Ferndale Laboratories, Inc. was one of the first pharmaceutical companies to reach out to the marketplace with telemarketers. To further support Ferndale Laboratories' goal to establish itself as a nationwide corporation, a powerful outside sales force was implemented in 1996, working in conjunction with the inside sales representatives. The synergy created between these two groups assisted Ferndale Laboratories in reaching the national marketplace exponentially.
