In May of 1989, Atonement sold three acres to the Fargo Park Board for part of what is now Rose Creek Golf Course. This helped finance further growth of our facilities. In May of 1991, we installed permanent seating in the sanctuary and dedicated our organ and piano. In 1992, a new kitchen, garage, playground, Fellowship Hall renovation and many remodeling projects were completed. That same year we established a Congregational Fund and adopted a new Mission Statement. In August of 1994, Pastor Dale Wolf was called as senior pastor, and Atonement Christian Preschool was begun. In 1996 Pastor Derek Engfelt was called to serve as associate pastor, serving until September of 1999. In April of 1999, an addition was completed which included a large multipurpose room that serves as a worship area and recreation space, five large classrooms, a music rehearsal room, a new kitchen/pantry, a youth room and expanded parking. In 2000 we remodeled the Fellowship Hall, renamed it the Fireside Room, and made the Library a separate space. Our 2000 pastoral staff was completed with the addition of Pastor Rebecca Lee as associate pastor and Pastor Carell Foss as part-time associate pastor.
