Founded in 1989, the NJ Center for the Healing Arts, Inc. is registered with the state of New Jersey as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The Center has also been determined to be a bona fide community agency by the Board of Psychological Examiners. We offer services and programs designed to meet the mental health needs of individuals (adults, seniors, adolescents, and children), families, and groups. In addition, we work collaboratively with multidisciplinary practitioners and physicans to provide integrated mental health and wellness services, as well as educational, cultural, social and artistic opportunities for people of all ages. We believe in the value of each person and that each person is significant in relationships, families, groups and communties. We advocate full participation and self-responsibility in the health and healing process. We offer counseling, psychotherapy, addictions counseling, art and sandplay therapy, and hypnotherapy. If desired, we will work with your medical or holistic health practitioners to provide an integrated approach to health and healing. NJCHA is concerned with wellness in body, mind and spirit. We seek to motivate and empower healthy interactions between people and their social, cultural, economic and physical environments.
