WisperTel was founded in October 2001 to provide broadband Internet access and value-added services to under-served bedroom communities, initially in Southwest Denver. WisperTel offers both residential and commercial services, starting with 1 Mbps residential Internet service at $29.95 per month and feature-rich E-phone (VoIP) service with unlimited North American long distance for $19.95 per month. After five years of steady growth and four acquisitions, WisperTel today covers in excess of 2,500 square miles in and around Denver and Boulder, serving over 3,500 customers.
