The Evanston Regional Hospital offers complete health screenings, breast health, childbirth, and support services for women of all ages. In addition, we have attracted physicians specializing in obstetrics and gynecological needs of women, and Board-certified radiologists and registered radiological technologists to aid in diagnostic procedures involving women's health. Obstetrics & Gynecology Services are staffed by two OB/GYN specialists and a highly-trained staff of nurses and other caregivers. The services we offer include comprehensive pregnancy care, ultrasound, nutrition services, prenatal classes, and private birthing rooms. Breast Health Services bring education, screening, diagnostic, and support services to women in our community. Clinical services include low-dose mammography, breast ultrasound, needle localization, and needle biopsy. Breast health education takes many forms at our hospital. You might like to drop by any time of the day, and view materials in our Community Health Information Center located at the front of the hospital. Here you'll find information about such things as how you can perform your own at-home breast self-exam, or schedule a clinical breast exam or regular mammogram in Radiology. We adhere to the FDA's standards of mammography, and have gathered a friendly, highly knowledgeable staff of technologists, nurses, physicians, and support staff.
