John Ash Group Architects was founded in 1982 with a commitment to serve clients' needs through design excellence. With offices in Northern and Southern California, our practice offers full architectural, urban design, historic preservation, and interior design services. We have extensive experience in the design of residential, retail, corporate, institutional, and mixed-use developments. In addition to new building design, we specialize in the adaptive re-use of existing buildings with an emphasis on historic structures, theatres, and artist live/work spaces. Our staff of ten professionals is experienced in a wide variety of projects for major corporations, developers, local, state, and federal agencies, colleges and universities, and individuals. Our projects are never designed in a vacuum, but start with understanding project histories, relationships, and people's lives. Our clients have made a financial and emotional investment in their buildings, and we make it a priority to analyze the needs of both client and project. The goal is to create environments that enhance the quality of life for those who live and work in them.
