Since founding the business in North County San Diego in May of 2003, Diane and Scott have become deeply involved with community business and economic development. JDS Productions is a Member in Good Standing and holds seats on the Board of Directors for the San Diego North Economic Development Council. In addition, Diane is on the executive board as the acting Treasurer, as well as, chairing the Marketing Committee. Scott chairs the committee for SDNEDC to keep the San Diego Chargers in the county. Both Diane and Scott are founding members of the Women's Business Center of California and Diane recently joined the Advisory Board for the WBCC. In addition, Diane and Scott are Charter Board Members of the North San Diego Real Estate Investors. Diane and Scott are also very proud to be the parents of two wonderful boys: Joshua Daniel Strand, 8, and Jordan David Strand, 4, who happen to be JDS Productions' namesakes.
