Hiland Partners, LP (Hiland Partners) is a midstream energy partnership engaged in purchasing, gathering, compressing, dehydrating, treating, processing and marketing of natural gas and the fractionating, or separating, and marketing of natural gas liquids (NGLs). The Company also provides air compression and water injection services to Continental Resources, Inc. (CLR) for use in its oil and gas secondary recovery operations. Hiland Partners’ operations are primarily located in the Mid-Continent and Rocky Mountain regions of the United States. In its midstream segment, it connects the wells of natural gas and crude oil producers in its operating areas to its gathering systems, treat natural gas to remove impurities, process natural gas for the removal of NGLs, fractionate NGLs into NGL products, and provides an aggregate supply of natural gas and NGL products to a variety of transmission pipelines and markets.
