Mobile Agent Technologies is a small privately held startup located in suburban New Jersey. We hold a groundbreaking U.S. patent for application virtualization. . The invention, called automatic thread migration (ATM), allows a running Java program to be seamlessly migrated from one host to another across a heterogeneous computer network. Upon its arrival at the second computing host, the application will continue to execute at the point at which it left off. The technololgy enables systems to be built which are massively scaleable, extremely fault tolerant, indestructable and SOA compliant.
