MyComfort was founded in early 2006 by Tony and Terry Pearce, partners in EdiZONE, the world's foremost research and development firm for cushioning and other sleep products (see www.edizone.com). EdiZONE has developed and patented many of the sleep technologies available at MyComfort including Intelli-Gel, FLOAM, and Multi-Cell. Their technologies can be found in products worldwide in such things as medical beds for critical care patients, consumer beds, pillows, wheelchair cushions, shoes, shoulder straps, toys, and much more. These technologies are quickly becoming the industry standard for support, alignment, and pressure relief. Many of the MyComfort stores were formerly Intelli-Bed stores, which sold Intelli-Gel beds and pillows. In order to make available EdiZONE's other cushioning technologies (like FLOAM and Multi-Cell), and because our customers were anxious to see Intelli-Gel in many more products than just beds and pillows, we expanded into MyComfort.
