The Elmhurst Art Museum is the cultural center of DuPage County, Illinois. Specializing in late 20th Century American Art, its award winning building was designed around the McCormick House, one of only three Ludwig Mies van der Rohe designed homes built in the United States and the first such residence in the U.S. to be saved from possible demolition back in the mid-1990s.
