The San Diego County Library’s 33 branches, two
bookmobiles, adult literacy offices and Books-by-Mail program cover a wide-ranging
territory of 4,199 square miles. Through its collection of 1.7 million
items and its dedicated staff, SDCL serves the informational and recreational needs of
more than 641,000 valuable customers of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, interests
and experiences, who live in its many diverse communities.
