The Glia Group was formed in February, 2000 by three individuals whose experience in conceptualizing and creating Web sites stretches back to 1994. Glia's three principals, Mary Beth Guard, Michele Petry and Carin Eisenhauer, are joined by veteran banking attorney Sam Ott, patent attorney/telecommunications expert Lynndon Michael Guard, superstar saleswoman Tobi Chunowitz, who serves as national Internet director for the company, and graphics designer Chad Harrison. BankersOnline.com has quickly become the most heavily-trafficked banking site on the Internet. In the early days of the Web, members of the group created OBA Online (the Oklahoma Bankers Association's extensive member site, which received national recognition) and the well-regarded BankersNet of Kentucky (Kentucky Bankers Association). They were also responsible for the editorial content, design, and creation of four large and highly complex ecommerce and banking-related portals for a large global corporation.
