The Mission of the SunDial Foundation, Inc., a 501c(3) foundation established in April 1998 in honor of my parents, Gerard & Helaine Swarbrick, is to contribute funds to 501c(3) organizations that primarily benefit women, children and families with special needs in the greater Washington area or support national/international crisis relief. The Foundation supports inner city food banks, education, shelter, child protection, the arts and economic development, with an emphasis on programs that promote dignity, independence and safety, and combat poverty, hunger and homelessness. Since its inception, Sundial has given more than one quarter million dollars to families in need.
