The Timm Hotel Group (THG) is a hospitality management company based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. THG currently owns and operates hotel properties throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. We focus on limited service hotels that cater to the needs of business and leisure travelers in these markets. The Timm Hotel Group (THG) was founded in 1994. Prior to its founding, the principal of the company (Greg Timm) has owned and operated franchised hotel properties in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wyoming. Mr. Timm has been in the hospitality business for over 20 years and has been affiliated with more than seven different hotel franchise licenses. During the last several years, he has gained extensive knowledge and experience in the industry through managing and overseeing the day-to-day hotel operations of multiple hotels. In addition to this, Mr. Timm also founded Timm & Associates, Inc. in 1994. Timm & Associates, Inc. is a hotel real estate brokerage company that deals exclusively in the sale and exchange of hotels in the upper Midwest carrying real estate licenses in six states. Timm & Associates, Inc. is considered one of the most active hotel brokerage companies in this region. Mr. Timm has been involved with over 100 hotel sales transactions. Since the founding of THG, the company has added additional upper-tier limited service properties in Rogers, MN; Plymouth, MN; and Eagan, MN to its portfolio. Most recently, THG has developed and constructed the new Country Inn & Suites - St. Paul NE and opened it in March of 2006. Currently, THG has appointed Troy Creary as Vice President of Operations overseeing the day-to-day hotel operations. Troy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and worked for Hilton International and the St. Paul Hotel for 10 years before coming to work for THG in 1999. THG is working to expand its portfolio and moving towards establishing extended stay and upper-tier limited service hotels. The key values of THG are quality and service.
