March 5, 2004 - M Systems successfully implements an upgrade including a data replication based disaster recovery mechanism for a leading distributor of industrial pipe, fittings, valves, and controls located in Virginia. The new solution is more than twice as fast as before and data is replicated within seconds to a co-location facility which houses a backup server. IBM Informix Dynamic Server's High Availability Data Replication (HDR) facility was utilized as the replication mechanism. February 2, 2004 - M Systems leading edge custom configurator for power distribution applications completes another year with 100% uptime. A turnkey surver upgrade is implemented seamlessly, providing more capacity to keep up with increased demand as well as better performance. Increased data redundancy is also provided in the form of RAID 1 (mirroring). Technologies used include IBM Informix Dynamic Server 9.40, Sun Solaris operating system, and Sun Microsystems hardware. September 2, 2003 - M Systems successfully completes custom migration to a new server with Informix 3rd party product for a Hickory, NC manufacturer of components to the furniture/home furnishings industry.
