Dupinder Singh, M.D., is a gastroenterologist - hepatologist at City of Hope Duarte in the Los Angeles-area, the Directory of Hepatology and an assistant clinical professor in the Division of Gastroenterology. He is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Dr. Singh specializes in fatty liver disease, liver cancer and hepatic graft vs. host disease. He chose this field in part for its challenges: “Fatty liver disease,” he points out, “is the most common liver disorder in the United States and is on the rise due to its association with diabetes and obesity. Liver cancer is the only cancer with increasing mortality in the U.S."
