Pendik Marine operates mainly at the port of Boston. Other ports in close proximity to Pendik Marine are Portland and Searsport in Maine, Portsmouth in New Hampshire, Providence, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. While these ports provide the majority of Pendik Marine's surveying activities, the company also conducts surveys at the US Gulf ports including New Orleans, Houston, and Mobile, and on the East Coast including New York, Baltimore and Jacksonville. Pendik Marine's policy is to provide the highest level of marine services to Ship Owners, Charterers, Insurance companies, Shippers, and other organizations. The services we provide extend to areas of compliance, insurance, stowage and regulations. Baki Ceylan, President and CEO, is a graduate of SUNY Maritime College at Fort Schuyler in New York with a Master's degree in International Transportation Management. Prior to that, he earned his BS in Marine Transportation from Istanbul Technical University, Maritime Faculty in Turkey. With over 10 years at sea and ashore, Mr. Ceylan acquired extensive experience in all aspects of international shipping industry through his proven experience on various size of ocean-going ships ranging from handy to capesize, later in marine surveying with National Cargo Bureau in New Orleans, and later in ship chartering with Kroon Shipping Corporation in New Jersey.
