First Northern Community Bancorp is a bank holding company whose only subsidiary, First Northern Bank of Dixon (First Northern), a California state chartered bank, conducts general banking activities, including collecting deposits and originating loans, and serves Solano, Yolo, Sacramento, Placer and El Dorado Counties. First Northern is in the commercial banking business, which includes accepting demand, interest bearing transaction, savings, and time deposits, and making commercial, consumer, and real estate related loans. It also offers installment note collection, issues cashier’s checks, sells travelers’ checks, rents safe deposit boxes, and provides other customary banking services. First Northern also offers a range of alternative investment products and services. It offers equipment leasing and limited international banking services through third parties.
