The Mission of Simon House is to improve the quality of life, parenting and self determination skills of homeless, HIV/AIDS infected single women and women with children, through a continuum of care. Simon House offers emergency shelter, transitional and permanent housing, counseling, health education, independent living skills, hospice and support services to families in crisis, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Families living with HIV/AIDS are provided with a clean, safe environment where they can care for themselves. The nurturing program at Simon House is designed to support the existing family structure, rather than to replace it, and to give mothers the help they need to remain the primary caregivers for their children.
