The mission of McKinley-Thatcher Elementary School is to engage our students in a rigorous and balanced course of study based on DPS Content Standards for Academics and the Arts, Character Education, and environmental studies. We monitor our students' progress toward meeting or exceeding state proficiency levels using state and district formal assessments and ongoing, informal teacher assessments. Partnering with our students, their families and the local community we strive to develop interventions to ensure the academic success of all students.
