Color Graphix and Powell Embroidery Powell Embroidery was created in 1945 by my grandmother, Ruth Powell. During that time the company did mainly embroidery. Color Graphix Inc. was acquired 1981 by my father, Jerry Powell. Since its creation in 1945 the company has seen many changes, from manual chain stitch machines to fully computerized embroidery, to manual single head silk screen presses to semi-automatic pneumatic yard sign printers, to the large format 4' by 8' printer that now resides in our work area. We have strong social relationships with our customers because we consider our customers are our friends. So please, come in and make yourself at home in this family-based company of tradition.
