We publish a newsletter and a membership directory. Illinois GIS Notes is the newsletter publication of ILGISA. The newsletter, which is published twice a year, includes in-depth papers on a wide variety of topics, short articles about the activities of the association and other news pertinent to members. In addition, ILGISA publishes an annual membership directory. What Are Our Plans for the Future? We have organized a number of committees to expand our services to members. Among our goals is to increase opportunities for students looking to enter the GIS world, to enhance our communications efforts with the addition of a web site, and to expand our membership through an aggressive recruitment effort. Committees have been organized to implement these goals. New ideas are always welcome.
