Langer, Inc. designs, manufactures and distributes medical products and services targeting the long-term care, orthopedic, orthotic and prosthetic markets. Through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Twincraft, Inc. and Silipos, Inc., the Company also offers a line of personal care products for the private label retail, medical and therapeutic markets. On January 23, 2007, the Company acquired Twincraft. On January 8, 2007, it acquired Regal Medical Supply LLC. On January 18, 2008, the Company sold its wholly owned subsidiary, Langer (UK) Limited (Langer UK) to an affiliate of Sole Solutions. In June 2008, the Company sold all the membership interests in Regal Medical Supply, LLC. In August 2008, Langer Inc. announced the closing of the sale of the stock of Bi-Op Laboratories, Inc. In October 2008, Langer Inc. announced the sale of substantially all of the operating assets related to its Langer branded custom orthotics and related products business to an affiliate of The Orthotic Group.
