Dr. Biggs has over 25 years of experience as a licensed clinical psychologist.She attended UT Southwestern Medical Center for her Ph.D. & was an Associate Professor in Dept. of Psychiatry. She works with adults 18 years and older. She provides diagnostic assessment & short and long term evidence-based psychotherapies.. She is a founding fellow & diplomate with the Academy Of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She completed a 2 year post-doctoral extramural fellowship at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy Training and Research. She specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, coping with chronic medical conditions, stress, and adjusting to life transitions such as retirement, college life and living independently (aka "adulting").
