Charter Builders, Ltd. is a wholly owned affiliate of Heery International(www.heery.com ), an Atlanta based program management, design, engineering and construction management firm founded in 1952. It operates 30 offices throughout the United States and Europe. We are an active member of the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter (Quoin) of the Associated General Contractors of America, AGC. They include engineering, estimating, accounting, field supervision and project management. Our graduate training program has rewarded Charter with several of our current managers and field supervisors. Our experienced and qualified staff maintains an excellent database of cost/budgeting data, a solid subcontractor following, fairness and ethical treatment during the buyout process and responsible budgeting which conforms to the customer's requirements and needs. We operate a Risk Management Department which monitors our compliance with Safety and Quality Control. It is a proactive program which stresses safety training and awareness, hazard analysis, educational development and pre-planning. Our Corporate Safety Director is an integral part of the success of our firm and contributes significantly to keeping our Workers Compensation modifier at a very competitive level. Proper pre-planning which involves the customer and A/E has proven to be a key to achieving our goals. Charter's Finance Department provides our customers with accurate reporting, prompt payments and an open book record keeping policy. They are actively involved in supporting our Estimating Department with the subcontractor selection process and maintain a watchful eye on subcontractor insurance compliance. Our Dunn & Bradstreet rating is excellent and we maintain a superior rating with our insurance carrier.
