Info
California Earth Minerals Corporation is dedicated to healing the earth, detoxifying our soil and water, and helping families, as well as animals, live healthier lives. Ray Kong founded California Earth Minerals October, 1997. Today, the company is the industry leader in research and development of products utilizing the healing restorative properties of calcium montmorillonite -a living clay found both in certain regions of France , as well as desert regions of the western U.S. Ray's lifelong fascination with geology, combined with his extensive experience in the petrochemical industry, led him to acquire a California mine, rich in a pure form of calcium montmorillonite. At first, he simply supplied distributors with clay product to satisfy the needs of several commercial businesses that in turn sold to major neutriceuticals, formulators, tablitizers, cosmetic firms, etc. In fact, California Earth Minerals is a leading industry supplier of edible nutritional clay. But the need to give back to the earth moved him to undertake his own research into how this clay could be used to renew and repair the environment, and help rid the population of the toxins ingested from food grown in chemically saturated, over harvested, mineral/nutrient depleted soil. He assembled the expertise researchers and scientists to help produce the specialty products now known as Terramin, TerraBathe and TerraPond, TerraSilk, Nutramin, Earthfood, etc. Ray Kong has introduced many of these products, with the help of the Federal government NASA division, Department of Fish and Wildlife, various major university government funded projects, geologists, nutritionists, etc. He has appeared on the Discovery Channel to talk about edible clays, has participated in national health fairs, koi fish clubs, and water garden shows, and has spoken at several wellness groups on the healing restorative power of this living clay. Today, he devotes his life to promoting wellness, and restoring the environment.
