Maryland Therapeutic Riding (MTR) is a non-profit organization located near Washington, DC, Baltimore and Annapolis, Maryland on a beautiful 25 acre farm. With the help of hundreds of volunteers and generous community contributors, MTR strives to improve the lives of special needs riders of all ages using a high quality program. includes both traditional Therapeutic Riding as well as Hippotherapy. Instructor training is also offered. MTR is a Premier Operating Center accredited by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA).
