The construction industry is involved in the making of buildings or infrastructure. Construction takes place at a specific location unlike manufacturing. Types of construction are building construction, residential construction and new construction techniques. It includes planning, designing and financing a project until it is ready for use which involves building materials, logistics, measuring the environmental impact of construction, budgeting, scheduling and inconvenience to the public especially for large projects called megaprojects. Construction is a collaboration between construction engineers, a design team, legal advisors and construction management.
