We are a small company providing only one or two bicycle tours a year to France and Italy and just to the areas we have enjoyed visiting and cycling. And, since we only do a few tours a year, we get just as excited about going on each tour as our clients. Every year Jeff and Francine personally accompany each of their tours as hosts, guides, and sometimes cheerleaders, making sure that your tour is a memorable one. Now after 16 years in "the business", we've had a chance to reflect on our past tours and how truly fortunate we have been. This good fortune is because every year we have wonderful folks who continue to return and join us in the thrill, sweat, camaraderie, and fun of traveling by bike. From the active cyclist to the recreational biker, we have been able to provide a tour that can fulfill each person's particular needs, wishes and desires. Since 1990, HWBT has bicycled on roads less traveled that Jeff has searched, mapped out, and marked for carefree pedaling. From the places we visit, to our accommodations and even the choices of the evening cuisine, we try to make it possible for you to discover and enjoy the full flavor of France and Italy, not as a tourist, but as a traveler, exploring the countryside that few will ever see. We believe that there is no better way to spend the day than cycling through the quiet countryside knowing that, when you arrive at your destination, all the details have been taken care of! This year we'll be bringing our own special touch and personalized hospitality to Le Lot Valley, a place in south central France where we will be staying in charming inns and châteaux, eating gourmet cuisine and tasting the distinctive local wines.
