Milestone Occasions, LLC has been providing wedding planning, design, and production services to clients since 1997. Our story begins with Tia R. Ervin entering the event industry in 1986 as a floral designer. After years of providing countless brides with beautiful and original floral and decor concepts for their weddings, Tia found a new passion for the behind the scenes details of planning the wedding itself. She was excited by the planning process and inspired by the challenge of creating a wedding that reflected the personality, style, and taste of the couple she was servicing. After years of dividing her time between floral and event design work, she made the decision to solely focus her energy on the art of planning and producing weddings. Although she had been coordinating weddings since 1997, she wanted to ensure she was passing the most accurate information on to her future clients. Therefore, she took it upon herself to complete a formal training program with the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants (ACPWC), where she was awarded the distinguished title of Professional Wedding Consultant in July 2005. She continues her membership through the Atlanta chapter of ACPWC, and serves as the maintenance lead of the national website. As the Director of Event Services, Tia works tirelessly to ensure each Milestone Occasions client feels special and receives the personal attention they are entitled to. Slightly more than 75% of the Milestone Occasions client base are brides, and Tia is always looking for ways to improve service offerings. In 2007, Tia expanded her staff to include 3 part-time certified consultants. This dedicated staff is positioned to listen to the needs and desires of its clients, and find ways to make each event special and unforgettable from start to finish.
